Crowning Glory - St. John Queen & Princess Pageants Preview

Get ready to meet this year's Festival Royalty at the St. John Festival Princess & Miss St. John Festival Queen selection pageants.

Every year the Festival Parade is graced not only by a multitude of incredible costumes, dances and musical numbers, but also by those two young women chosen to reign as St. John's Festival Queen and Princess - and the time for that choice is almost upon us.

On the two weekends prior to the 4th of July parade, there's no better place to be than the Winston Wells Ball Field for the Queen and Princess selection pageants. In a series of competitive events, the contestants will showcase their talents for public speaking, modeling, and performance, and a panel of judges will select a winner who will reign for a year. The winners act as role models for St. John's young women and represent the island in other events around the territory. Of course, more immediately, the Queen and Princess (along with the already-appointed St. John Festival Prince, Devon Alfred) will be featured in the parade, and preside as royalty for all the carnival festivities.

But don't wait for the parade! Scroll down for a sneak peek at this year's Festival Royalty, as well as the event details - don't miss it!
