Sun Times Interview - Miss Theo
Theodora Moorehead
What did you do today?
Today I walked a dog – she likes bathing in the sea. I stocked the bar, did some banking, and went to Moorehead's Point for lunch. Then I came back and opened the bar.
What's the best thing about St. John?
That it's my homeland. I know where everything is, and it's comfortable. It's home, for me.
What's the last thing that made you laugh?
The 200,000 who came out to see Obama in Germany!
Do you think you've had a life-defining moment?
My life has always been defined by work that helps other people. I just try to do unto others as I would have them do unto me. I try to live life simply. It's about sharing, living, experiencing, not being judgmental, accepting people for who and what they are.
What are you most passionate about?
People who take advantage of others. If it happens in my presence, I say something about it. People who prey on the weak.
What are you most afraid of?
I can't think of anything I'm afraid of. (Sun Times: That's right, Miss Theo is fearless!)
